The power and poise that she has radiates off the page and flows to the viewer. Yes, this is not how she is typically portrayed but it's a good reminder that even Mother Nature was, at one time, a jaw dropping beauty that men would fight over. She looks so delicate that it is easy to think that she would be a push over. However her expression, nicely toned muscles and grip on that staff is a subtle reminder that she can still kick the tar out of things every now and again.
Her staff is an excellent touch and I like that she has the Earth there instead of a crystal or something like that. Very tastefully done. The color work throws everything into so much potency that I could easily stare at this piece for hours. Thank you for sharing this. I very much appreciate it.
